no and view from inside is no good either, you can see the runway from the hill at the back of speke hall.

it's free if you go by public transport.

Most viewing areas have been closed off. East Midlands used to have a great outside viewing area right by the ramp.. but security concerns have close most, if not all of them.

yes there is!!!!!! by the bar in the departure lounge, also there is a big window in the other bit bvefore you get there, I saw the Everton team walikng past a couple of times ago AND my mate Sarah getin off a plane from Amsterdam, which was ace cos I haddnt seen her for ages, she couldnt haer me through the glass though, i looked quite the fool

you can see the runway from burger king in there....until the plane disappears behind a building!
