My boyfriend and his mates are all obsessed with the World Cup so I'm looking for some inspiration on how the girls and me can make the most of the Liverpool without getting involved with football.

This may sound boring but i can assure you it isn't there are plenty of vibrant, fun & exiting places to visit in Liverpool such as the Maritime Museum (section on the slave trade)Museum of Liverpool life,Tate art gallery,Beatles tour,Mersey Ferries which takes you over the ferry to Birkenhead inc commentary on board there is an aquarium at Seacombe terminal.Plenty of nice parks such as croxteph.I would enquire at Liverpool torist information centre. If you type in icliverpool.com you should find some info there or try typing Liverpool Echo which is the local Newspaper. I used to live there & miss it greatly.

Go to the Cavern Club or do some shopping. Many shops along the waterfront.
