Liverpool is not that bad( I live there), but just stay on the main streets and roads, you should be fine. Only if you wander off the 'circuit' then things could turn a bit scarey

Liverpool is the same as any other UK city - indeed any city in the world, (except the US where lots of nutters have guns) there are dangerous areas and there are areas that are fine. If you're staying or socialising in busy areas, you'll have no problems. You could have trouble later in the night with inebriated lotharios, but this is not a uniquely Liverpudlian problem.

Don't hide yourself away from life afraid to do anything.

If you use a bit of cop-on you'll be fine. Have a great time.

I've been to Liverpool. On the weekend evenings there are alot of people out atclubs and drinking.... as everyone else said, you have to be careful no matter where you are. I'd say in Liverpool's case, just try not to act as like a tourist, stick to main roads with lots of people, and avoid whatever looks like it could become a bad situation. But, it is always best to be with at least one friend.

Although contrary to popular belief, Liverpool is just about the safest of all Britain's large cities. It is not advisable for a girl to walk about in any large city on her own at night. "You can be stupid if you live in a village, but if you bring your stupidity to the city the traffic will run you over".

I think you have to be on your guard anywhere you live, in this day and age I know it's sad but can we walk around any place and be safe? Protect yourself, have your phone ready and tell people where you are going. Please don't put youself in unnecessary danger if you don't have to find some other way that is safe.
